About Us

Rooted in Heritage, Thriving in the Pacific Northwest

Nyikwa Ramogi PDX is a pioneering cultural community organization based in Portland, Oregon, established to unite and empower individuals and families tracing their heritage to Kisumu, Siaya, Homa Bay, and Migori counties in Kenya. As the first organization of its kind in the region, we serve as a vital bridge between our rich ancestral roots and our home in Oregon. Through cultural preservation, mutual support, community empowerment, and collaborative growth, we foster a strong, connected network where members celebrate shared traditions, uplift one another, and build a lasting legacy for future generations.
